West by Edith Pattou Review

West is the sequel to Edith Pattou’s epic fantasy, East.

Some narrative elements from the Norwegian folk tale East of the Sun and West of the Moon East made the foundation for Pattou’s West.

Pattou builds on the foundations of her first book to return readers to Rose and Charles’s world where they are pitted against an ancient, vengeful enemy. I enjoyed how Pattou made Rose a very strong character who was fueled by an iron spirit that allows her to go to inconceivable lengths for the man she loves.

Fans of East will be sure to rejoice in this highly imaginative work that is a true testimony to selfless love.
