Roseanna M. White has a particular talent for writing historical fictions that transport readers directly to the backdrop of the First World War. Margot from The Number of Love was a quick witted character who strived to move forward in life despite the dire circumstances and environment that surrounded her. It's a book full of sacrifices, hope, and love in all its unexpected forms. There was also a great element of faith that was a subtle underscore throughout the story. The Number of Love was also a book that held the unconventional spy angle that really readers into the story. I found Room 40 utterly fascinating!
