May the Best Man Win

Good morning everyone!

Today I’m stoked to share all about May the Best Man Win by Z.R. Ellor. While most contemporary focus on the solely the romance, May the Best Man Win turns it’s eyes to the realism of transphobia, grieving, and the complicated elements of life that cause us to battle the world that surrounds us and for the freedom of our inner selves. While our protagonists Lukas and Jeremy are battling for Homecoming King, they are also undergoing the process of overcoming their struggles, and rekindling the connection between them. Both characters are morally gray and have their own separate struggles that show the promise of future development beyond May the Best Man Win. I would have loved to see more of this but understand that the book predominantly centralized around the drama and lovers-to enemies-to lovers plot.
