What I loved about #OneCarefreeDay was @whitneyamazeen’s ability to convey Willow’s journey with her OCD and voyaging into her inner voice as she processes the world around her. This #ownvoices work brought forth mental health representation that are much needed for YA readers. While some topics might be a bit difficult, this is an important read that inspires empathy and immersion into real world topics.
